DUSABLE PARK

DuSable park sits at the mouth of the Chicago river. An exploration into the natural ecologies and landscapes of dunes and swales shaped this site as a present representation of the how the shoreline might have looked at the settling of Chicago. The reintroduction of water onto the site allows cut and fill operations to create landmasses which offer vantage points of the surrounding downtown urban environment while also creating solitary moments of quiet.
