Urban orchard is a concept master plan for the neighborhood of Englewood on the southside of Chicago. This plan proposes transferring vacant city-owned parcels of land to the community for the development of an urban orchard business. An orchard would complement the communities ambition of creating and agro-district while framing public assets such as parks, workshops, sculpture gardens, playgrounds, markets, and sport courts.
